Accommodation

We're inviting everyone to stay the night of the wedding, dance the night away, and stay on the night after if you feel like hanging out and enjoying the river and fine company. We'd love everyone to camp, but realise that not everyone's a camper, so there's other 'choose your own adventure' sleeping options if that's you.

Camping

Camping is the main event! There's a river, bush, food and friends aplenty.

We encourage you to bring your tent, van or whatever you fancy, dance late into the night with us, then stay the next day for a swim, a recovery and a big family dinner.

You'll need to bring your own tents/van and camping equipment, but there will be toilets, and water, and we'll be providing most food for the weekend. The river is a beautiful place to refresh and have a clean, and if water is plentiful we might try and rig up some basic showers from the tank. No hot showers, but it'll be summer!

Tombarra

Downstream from Steve and Maria's, along the Mongarlowe River, is the rural retreat Tombarra. This is a 10 minute drive away, just outside of the township of Mongarlowe.

At Tombarra there are 12 self-contained cabins available to book for those who do not wish to camp. There are 10 cabins which fit 2-3 people in varying arrangements, and two larger cabins which fit 5 and 6 people each. Consider booking in groups to make the most of the beds available. Please have a look at their website if you are interested.

How to book

As we have placed a hold on all the cabins for Friday and Saturday night, you will not be able to make a booking online. Please call Niccha on 0448 533 616 and mention our wedding to make your booking. Niccha is absolutely lovely, and wanted us to pass on that she will be on holiday until August 8th, so may be a little slower returning phone calls and processing bookings during that period.

Braidwood and Surrounds

A small number of rentals can be found in Braidwood and Mongarlowe on Airbnb and other services. Feel free to book one of them if you desire.

Braidwood is about 25 minutes drive from the farm. Mongarlowe is about 10 minutes, but is a very small rural hamlet.
